Attitude of Grattitude

It's a season for thanksgiving.
a time when we reflect over the year and just be thankful
for God's grace, health, family...
This year has had it's struggles for the Risinger Five
but as always God has a way when we can't see it.
There are so many things to be thankful for this year.
Jeramiah's job, after searching and searching.
He's such a hard worker and I am proud of him everyday. He has shown himself to be valuable there and they are rewarding him for it.
Our Kiddies, they are a wild bunch.
So entertaining.
I get to stay home with them and watch them grow and really be there for them.
They teach me so much........
mostly that my patience needs a LOT more work!!
It's nice to be closer to my mom. She enjoys being closer to the kids,
and we get to have our girls nights every now and then to maintain each others sanity!
We have found a great church and the kids love going.
We have made friends here, and have the most amazing neighbors.
which brings me to the latest thing we have to be thankful for.......
a new home!!!!
I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to finally have a home that Jeramiah and I can make our own.
A place to make a ton of memories in.
(a ton because we'll be paying on it FOREVER! haha!)
We will be so sad to leave our neighbors and the boys will have to change schools,
but we'll visit our friends often.
One of the perks of only moving about 20 minutes away.
Of course there are hundreds of things I could list that I am Thankful for,
but I just wanted to share a few....
plus I'm pretty positive nobody wants to read that many reasons.
Like at least five reasons why I'm thankful for coffee..........
Happy Thanksgiving......try and keep an attitude of gratitude everyday, it keeps those "problems" in check.

Here is a little sneak peak at Casa de Risinger.

Camden is another year older.

In August Camden Turned 4. Although he's another year old he still is a pretty small guy. He also still quite the talker. He will talk to anyone anywhere about everything. Usually we have to give him a little talk before heading into a store or a restaurant so he doesn't talk to strangers. So you have fair warning, if you have a secret....don't tell Camden.
He's a pretty smart little boy too, very clever. He can't wait til he gets to go to big school like his brother. Since Tanner is going to school we've got to see a little bit of Camden on his own. He likes to copy his brother a lot, so this gives him some time away from Tanner.

We went to Build-a-Bear Workshop to celebrate his birthday. He wanted make a puppy. He picked a black puppy and put a barking sound in it. He named his dog Pluto, and he sleeps with it every night now.

more pics from TN weekend

Here's a few more pictures from our trip to TN. Blogger is taking FOREVER to load pictures, so it's harder to post on here. Of course if you are on Facebook you've seen most of these anyway.

Catching up...

Hello everyone....since I'm on bed rest with the baby
I thought I'd catch you up a little on what we've been doing for the past couple of months.
I went to TN to see sugarland and Keith Urban with my mom at the end of August. It was so nice to take a little break and have some girl time

The next weekend we all loaded up and drove to my mom's house in TN. The road trip went pretty well, and we had a lot of fun. I was excited to show Jeramiah TN. I love the area. The boys loved playing around outside and making s'mores at night. Jeramiah and I took an afternoon and went to Nashville and walked around. We went and saw the Parthenon replica.

Tanner's late birthday

Tanner turned 5 in February and we had a small birthday dinner with just us
He was determined however, that he wasn't really 5 until he had an actual party
So, when my mom came to town in may
we had a mini party with Nana
at Chuck E. Cheese.
The boys both love this place
we rarely go so they were super excited!
Jeramiah, as it turns out,
is also quite the fan of the chuckster's games
the found this basketball game that he was "ruling"
and played several rounds
they boys rounded up a lot of tickets out of it anyway.

We had a great visit with my mom
We went to the beach while she was here also.

In other news.....
We went to the store tonight to get Tanner his backpack for KINDERGARTEN!!!
I can't believe he's going to be starting school
he's still a baby to me
and I already know I'm going to be weepy on his first day
when I drop him off
He's such a big man (with the attitude to match!)
I'm praying he does well and doesn't get discouraged.
He's been in christian pre-schools and daycare,
so this will be his first time in a public school setting.
Camden will be going to pre-school
he just turned 4 on the 5th of August
He hasn't gotten much bigger
but he's a clever little guy
and he will talk to anyone or anything for days!
mostly just rambling
but he also repeats EVERYTHING! so strangers know all about the workings of our household the lifeguard at our pool always gets the low-down on what sort of trouble Tanner has got into that day

As most of you, I'm sure, already know
we are expecting a baby girl
YEAH!!!!!
We are so excited,
she's been moving a lot lately,
which leads to some uncomfortable sleep
but I only have 3 more months to go.
I'll deliver by c-section the week before thanksgiving.
We haven't come up with a name.
Jeramiah likes some names,
I like some,
but we don't really like each others names.
Although,
we did have a breakthrough today and we BOTH like Emma.
We had originally planned on using my middle name
which is Elizabeth
but I'm not quite sure how it sounds
Emma Elizabeth Risinger
What do you think?
Well.
I think tonight has been a really good start to he blog
so I'll close for now.
There will be pregnancy pics soon....
and I'm going to do my best at keeping this updated frequently.
Or else the blog police will come after me
a.k.a. my dad
