He was determined however, that he wasn't really 5 until he had an actual party
So, when my mom came to town in may
we had a mini party with Nana
at Chuck E. Cheese.
The boys both love this place
we rarely go so they were super excited!
Jeramiah, as it turns out,
is also quite the fan of the chuckster's games
the found this basketball game that he was "ruling"
and played several rounds
they boys rounded up a lot of tickets out of it anyway.
We had a great visit with my mom
We went to the beach while she was here also.
In other news.....
We went to the store tonight to get Tanner his backpack for KINDERGARTEN!!!
I can't believe he's going to be starting school
he's still a baby to me
and I already know I'm going to be weepy on his first day
when I drop him off
He's such a big man (with the attitude to match!)
I'm praying he does well and doesn't get discouraged.
He's been in christian pre-schools and daycare,
so this will be his first time in a public school setting.
Camden will be going to pre-school
he just turned 4 on the 5th of August
He hasn't gotten much bigger
but he's a clever little guy
and he will talk to anyone or anything for days!
mostly just rambling
but he also repeats EVERYTHING! so strangers know all about the workings of our household the lifeguard at our pool always gets the low-down on what sort of trouble Tanner has got into that day
As most of you, I'm sure, already know
we are expecting a baby girl
YEAH!!!!!
We are so excited,
she's been moving a lot lately,
which leads to some uncomfortable sleep
but I only have 3 more months to go.
I'll deliver by c-section the week before thanksgiving.
We haven't come up with a name.
Jeramiah likes some names,
I like some,
but we don't really like each others names.
Although,
we did have a breakthrough today and we BOTH like Emma.
We had originally planned on using my middle name
which is Elizabeth
but I'm not quite sure how it sounds
Emma Elizabeth Risinger
What do you think?
Well.
I think tonight has been a really good start to he blog
so I'll close for now.
There will be pregnancy pics soon....
and I'm going to do my best at keeping this updated frequently.
Or else the blog police will come after me
a.k.a. my dad
I am so excited about your new blog! I just feel so far away unless I get to see what you are up to on a daily (well, you know what I mean) basis! I think Emma Elizabeth is perfect! Edward and I both loved Kiera's name, but it took us a while to say for sure that it was THE name for her. Try it out for a while when you talk to her and I bet you will quickly decide if it is THE name!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm glad you're back in the bloggerspere!
ReplyDeleteI love the name Emma and I think Emma Elizabeth is very pretty. It'll all come together at the perfect name. We were so set on our little girl's name and then had a moment of doubt and changed her name a little before she was born. Now we wouldn't change it for anything. You'll get there! :)
Just when I was getting used to Moira! Just kidding...Emma Elizabeth is cute! Of course I will have to wait to see her to give her a "Nana nickname". Know you can't wait for that :-) Speaking of seeing her...have you decided when you want me to come out? I want to make my travel plans early. Love you!
